In the U.S. there is an FCC regulation prohibiting the spoofing of numbers from an unsolicited source.Good luck with applying the fines, though.

this number calls me three to five times a day,how bad is that.?

The call my CELL phone all the time ( I don't answer my land line anymore but they call there too). I'm on the do not call list and I've complained to ATT but this company called Account Services calls me 6 - 10 times a week for 6 months now. I file a complaint almost every time they call with the DNCR. I received an email from the DNCR saying that EACH unwanted call could result in as much as a $1500 fine. The problem is the companies that do this scam are off shore and as soon as they get blocked or busted,the open shop in another place. The best I could do from a $20 reverse look up was a company called EVO but if you search and go to the co web site, they have a banner headline saying they are not the scam company and please don't blame them.Complain to your congressman. I'm about to change my CELL number AND never give it out.

I called this number and the first thing they asked for was my social security number. Then they asked for my birthdate. What? No way I'm giving that out!
