This is a scam by the phone company Verizon to use up your minutes and charge you excess minutes of move you into a higher rate plan. The more pissed you get and hang on trying to get them to stop the more you pay. They can't lose.

More of the same old [***]. This time it's just "account services" instead of Rachel, but it's the same [***]. I think it's about time to ask Verizon to change my phone number.

It can't just be a Verizon scam. I have AT&T and I get these same calls. It is someone claiming to be from Card Services wanting to give me a better rate. I asked them which card and ......... click!

Received call to lower my visa rate? Having no credit card I wonder why call my cell 2x a week. Called att they cannot block these calls. Time to make companies police selfs. Report all abuse calls make companies deduct call times for each. After 30 the month is free then see how fast the stop abuse.

I been getting the calls forever. It's a straight up scam. If you ask questions or call them names they call you back and get real nasty. One night they called me over 100 times

Now, instead of Rachel or whatever the next fake name was on the recording, & instead of sternly stating this is your last notice, the recording thanks me for my recent credit card payment & is glad to inform me that I qualify for a lower rate. I kept asking a smart-aleck man what company he was calling from until he gave me Visa & Mastercard, ma'am, & Account Services Financial, ma'am, at which time I told him I was on the do not call list & would be reporting the call. Which, of course, does no good, but it keeps someone in the federal govt employed, by making up believe something will ever really happen.

now they call daily again, and they are changing the spoofed number daily so sadly using mr number to block the numbers isn't working anymore. I am at the point where i am debating changing my number

This is a discussion board and does not have a call list. The number that brought you here is an invalid phone number from a questionable source. You should contact the Board Admin by clicking on the Quotation mark ! to the right of the reply button. Request that you post be removed in order to protect your phone number. You have just posted your phone number in a public area for any and all to see.
