I agree with it NOT being a Verizon scam, because friends and family who don't use Verizon get the same crap calls...
I've pushed "1 to talk to a representative" before and when they say "you're interested in lowering your credit card rate?", and I say "no, I'd like for you to get a legitmate job and quit trying to rip people off!' and then I wait for their "click..." >:/
Three calls in a day from this number. They call my cell phone...I don't answer, I'm not going to waste my minutes on a # I'm not familiar with. If it's important, they'll leave a message. This is one of 8 unidentified numbers that have called my cell in the past 2 weeks. How can I make it stop???
so many calls over and over, people wonder why people go postal.. would actually fly to wherever they are at and handle it myself or sue the [***] out of em... ive filed on em, and had some outrageous conversations rude and over the top responses from these pricks.....
These yahoos keep calling my Verizon Cell Phone using different #'s. I keep blocking the other numbers.Until we get Phone Companies to feel the pain, not of this will stop. They say Experian gives them my great Payment History, which allows them to call to lower my interest rate. That is crap, my Cell # is private. Random dialed calls phishing for your CC Info. This group sounded from New York Totally spoofed number as Area Code 263 is not even valid. These people are the SCUM of the earth.
I totally appreciate this website as it continues to be my go to place for these type of questionable calls. I answered and within five seconds they hung up. I imagine these spammers are pulling from a list as I have never gotten a call back from the same number, however these people sporadically call my phone at least twice a month. Until they locate these people that are illegally trying to steal your identity, expect more of these type of calls. I just feel bad for the elderly, seems to be who they are ultimately targeting.
I keep getting calls from Card Services to reduce my credit card rate. When you try and talk to them about not calling them hang up on you
