tired of receiving robot and scam calls. Wish the phone companies would block them at the source. If they can make a phone that can put a block on a particular phone nuber (and they can) then they can block a phone call from their lines. Where there is a will there is a way.
Got this call on my cell phone this afternoon. Didn't answer as I didn't know the number. If I get unknown calls on my landline, I let the answering machine take over. Why would I pay a charge for a nuisance call on a cell phone? Wish these people would leave us all alone. Does our privacy not count for anything? At least be honest and let your company be known instead of coming up as "unknown number".

Someone using this number called, when I answered there seemed to be there cut I said "hello" twice and no one said a thing. I hung up. If it was a collector they would not only answer but keep you on the line for as long as it took.

Yes. The caller claimed to represent Document Delivery Services and threatened to serve me with papers from a fifteen year old debt. A check with my local County Clerk’s Office revealed no evidence of lawsuit filed.
