BUy a Panasonic cordless phone. You can BLOCK up to 250 numbers. Totally worth the money. And this number? A bunch of crap. My healthcare providers DO NOT USE a service like this, I know for a fact. When are the phone companies and the cell phone providers going to DEAL with these crap robot calls and scam numbers? I get so many of these kinds of calls a day that it is unrealistic for the onus to me on me to report everyone. Would be a full time job. I screen every call now. I'd say in a day out of 20 calls, only 3 are legit. That's messed up. When the call block gets full? I erase it all and start over again. Only thing I can do.
Didn't recognize the number so I didn't answer. My answering machine answered with my short "leave a message" and a computerized voice started talking immediately. When the machines "beep" occurred the message stopped and a new computer voice gave us the appointment information. We've been seeing this doctor for eight years and this is the first time they have used this service.
I look at the other messages, and saw the 866-534-5980 as a number for a call back. I call the 866 number and contacted Ohio Medicad. The representative did let me know that the 303-256-1030 is associated with them. Also, another representative may have just dialed the wrong number, to my number. I did explain to the rep. that I found the 303 number on 800notes Directory of unknown callers and I was not the only one having this experience with the 303 number. I was told the number, ( my number ), would not be contacted again and was given an apology. That was my experience.
This is NOT a legit service. They left no doctor name. NO medical practice name. No info on how to contact them. This is bogus!
Mine was Planned Parenthood letting me know about my appt. They must use a discrete number channel to call out , because there are a lot of patients that ask the calls to be confidential. And not to be Told its "planned parenthood" calling.
