Market research called me last night and this morning on my cell phone. I hate them. One wanted to speak tot he male over 18 - are you kidding - call his cell phone not mine. I HATE unsolicited phone calls of any kind.
Aspen Media and Marketing. Caller ID says ASPEN MED MAR. Gee, it's a call from Colorado, perhaps they're giving me free MEDical MARijuana! These people are low-life scum. I've blocked their number.
I get several of these types of calls on and off. I don't go the route of requesting them to stop, or reporting them, because it never works. If I report or stop one, another similar telemarketer starts calling, and I think they are all part of the same operation. I just save the number, label it as "junk" and set my ringtone to "silent" for that number. The phone never rings when they call and I am not bothered. Later, from the log, I find that they call daily for 1-2 weeks, then stop because the phone is never picked up. I think their system labels my phone number as a non-operating number and the calling stops automatically. I have gotten rid of at least fifty such telemarketers this way.
Aspen Media called here AGAIN. They want to send us a "free TRIAL subscription" of our trade magazine. They have been told REPEATEDLY we are not interested. Calling once or twice a week and tying up one of my operators who has to argue with them. Aspen Media is not on the list of people who get put thru to anyone. And, with these tactics, they never will! No matter how they spin it, they are still PITA telemarketers!
They call my office, my home and my cell even after repeatedly being asked to be removed from their system. When my son or wife answers, they just hang up immediately. If I don't answer, they just keep trying. It's almost always for the same stupid trade magazine that I will never have anything to do with simply because of these calls. If you're on a multi-line phone, just dial out to the same number and connect them together. It confuses the hell out of them and provides a little comic relief to offset the annoyance. "Thank you for calling Aspen Media and Market Research..."
This is Aspen Research and they call repeatedly even after being asked to remove my number from their list. We get calls on consecutive days as well.
