They call my office number with this number and the 704 number, never leaving a message. The trade mag renewal calls and emails are getting insane. Recently I was told that the only way I'd STOP getting renewal emails and calls was to complete a form asking me for more info that I'd ever given them to get the free mag for a year in the first place. Idiots!
If they're doing covert lead generation for other companies, you can sue them under the TCPA and get $500 per call. Better yet, let them give your phone number to other firms that then call you, and then sue THEM for breaking the TCPA because they don't have prior express consent under the TCPA to call you. It's easy and fun and worth $500 per call. I know people who make a living at it!
Aspen has been calling our office for almost 3 years now. At first it was for a crappy trade mag that the recipient never read- they just piled on his desk cuz he's rarely at this office. I
Aspen Media is an outbound call center. We are provided with names and phone numbers from publishers who believe their magazines are relevant to you. All magazines that we offer are free of charge. Because we are outbound and represent many different magazines throughout the year, we cannot leave a message, instead we will try calling back on a different day to reach you. If you are not interested in receiving any free trade magazines that are relevant to your industry, simply contact us at info@aspenmediallc.com and we will remove your phone number from future calling.
simply tell them to take the number off of their list, we were trained to immediately end the call and enter into the logging program your request
I hate telemarketers as much as the rest, but they did get my number for a publication I did subscribe to. So the number being on the DNC does not matter one bit. There is an existing business relationship. As it happens, I was not interested in continuing the subscription and told them. So we will see what happens from there.
