received call on 5/5/16 - no reply when I answered. call from same number on 5/6/16. ricky - with eastern indian accent - from "my computer department" called stating there was a problem with my computer. I told him I didn't have a computer and ricky hung up.
Claimed he was from "Windows" and my computer had a virus. Quizzed him, he knew almost nothing about computers and changed why he was calling a couple of times, finally got mad and hung up. Obvious scammer trying to get credit card info, my husband is a computer network engineer-security.
Wants you to be suckered into giving up your computers control to them. They will compromise your computer and charge you a fee to make it work again. Then they will hack your accounts and it will never end.
called me twice early in the a.m. wanting me to turn on my computer as it was sending him "error codes"....hung g up on him. third time he called i said " im busy at the moment,riding your stank pakistani mother like livestock...moo, moo! lol. he unleashed a torrent of gibberish i could not understand then hung up on me! i literally laughed at this dumba#$ all day long! good times........
Called claiming to be a Windows repair tech and stated my computer had a virus. My husband is a computer engineer-security. I started asking questions the fellow could not answer then kept him on the phone for a while, until he mad and hung up.
