received a call from 305-654-1842, they claimed to be from my credit card company and they could reduce my rates, SCAMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!HUNG UP!

the same thing happened to me. they asked me how much debt i have and then when is said i only have one credit card they said i do not qualify and hung up. I also called it right back and the # was also disconnected. they are fishing for personal information!!

I've been getting this call for a while now. I was actually home to pick it up. The person I spoke with claimed to work with Wells Fargo and 500 other banks. She was extremely rude and unprofessional. When I asked to speak with a supervisor she said, "No you may not." When I told her that I wanted to be taken off her list, she said, "We're going to call you 50 more times to piss you off." I called Wells Fargo and was told that they don't work with any outside vendors to place outbound calls to credit card holders. Any ideas how to stop these people?

Didn't leave a message, this is the second number we have had to call that is a scam.

Just got a call from this number and didn't answer i't! Obviously a SCAM.They didn't leave a message and I didn't call them back. I see that several people are getting these calls but no govt. agency seems able to stop i't!

I was out with my husband and left my cell phone in the car. When I checked my phone for messages, that number came up twice. 7:57 and 7:58pm. I want to know how this person got my cell phone number. I just tried to call the number back and it was disconnected. I will press charges against this person.

I'm just doing more research on the unknown people that call me while I'm gone. However, there was one time where I picked up and the person said something about my credit cards and I don't own any credit cards yet. I think more human validation codes need to be made so that a machine does not call your house. I realize that it could be impossible, but these calls get annoying. If you call back, it says that the number is disconnected and probably because that number is having difficulties or they just don't want anyone else getting more information on them. That may mean they're not masters at all. I suggest that everyone reports these numbers. Some people are ignorant of some differences.Do not give anyone information. I think you'd know which company has your information and if they're legal or not. I think if some company you're with has any concerns then they'd send their concerns to you in the mail and not over the phone. It's like a police looking for someone. They wouldn't call random people just to try to find someone.

They told me to press 1 if I wanted to lower the interest rates on my credit cards. I played along until the operator asked me to verify my phone number and when I told her I would show her mine if she would show me hers, she hung up on me. My caller ID said the call was from the number above, and was listed as being "Lawrence Sandri" I dialed the number and was informed that it was disconnected. I'd sure like to catch these [***].
