Called here, same thing as everyone else. Nothing then disconnected. I called it back and it gave me a recording saying that it was a disconnected number.

Ahhh, Monday! The day the criminals get back to work and start annoying honest regular people. I let the voice mail pick up and the recording was of nothing. Quite obviously robo caller...which means scam...which means criminals.

Same thing, here in central New Hampshire, I hung right up after 2 seconds, terrible.

I just got a call on my home phone from this number. Same experience as is being reported by others. Annoying.

We just received one of these calls - nobody is ever on the line. Clearly this is a machine calling. They are either checking when you are home (not likely if it is a business number) or recording peoples voices (clearly for nefarious reasons, likely for some gov database).

They just called me. Caller I'd said Powell, Wyoming.

This is how telemarketers get around the "Do not call" list. They route their calls through a dummy US phone # where the CRTC can't touch them. If they ever do have someone on the line, just be exceptionally rude and gross and they will eventually go away. Anyone who calls me like this deserves what they get.

Just had same call. Wouldn't have answered if I'd been paying attention, but there's only one number difference in Wyoming AC & WV's. I'm afraid, with our identical experiences, that this may have been some telemarketing ploy to ascertain which robo-dialed numbers are actual in-use numbers. Not good.

Same here In Vancouver just now. No answer.
