Just got called on my Cell, which has a Jersey area code. Caller stated they were from the NJ dept of Health and were conducting a survey. I asked why they had a Chicago area code and was told "sometimes calls were routed through a call center". I informed them I lived in Oklahoma as was told that I "might quality for their survey, but they'd call back at another time.."And yes, I am on the Do Not Call registry...for what good it does....
Received three calls in two days from this number. First instance the caller was female, stated she was conducting a Washington Post Survey. I disconnected. Second call was unanswered, no V/M. Added to blocked callers list. Third call, phone did not ring, V/M left presumable by accident: Female spoke "Are you monitoring me ?" Male in background replied "Yeah, you're gettin' good at this"
Call came in as 312-529-9717, ID shows 1-312-529-9717 I didn't recognize the number so I let my answering machine pick it up, & Rochester the Butler answered it..They hung up...No message.. They get 2 more attempts then they go into my Telemarketer CallBlock List of Shame...
This one said they were doing a survey from "The Health Department" and suggested that thy were affiliated with NHC. I set this number to not ring. The call came on my cell phone.
No message. Chicago area code. Call twice a day, once about 9:00 a.m., next about 9:00 p.m. call all you want, we're not answaering!
We received two calls from 312-529-9717 listed from Chicago, one tonight and one last night. I didn't answer the phone. I put a trace on the call twice since I don't know who they are. I will call the phone company tomorrow and have that phone number blocked from my phone. I will also contact the BBC tomorrow and file a complaint. If the calls don't stop, I will send the CEO a letter threatening legal action.
