Got a call from this guy that did not want to shut up. I will not do anything over the phone, plus he is calling when my kids are in bed. How rude is that!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just called them back about ten times responding with 'F you' then hanging up, now I only get a voicemail, I think they got the picture
What I found on NDNCR site. What types of calls are not covered by the National Do Not Call Registry? The do not call provisions do not cover calls from political organizations, charities, telephone surveyors, or companies with which a consumer has an existing business relationship. They called my cell so,I just blocked the number...
my husband just received a call on his cell phone from 312 578 7015 He cut the call off after hearing Centers for disease control.
They have called me six times. Luckily i have the blacklist app and can have the calls ignored. Its still beyond annoying for those without apps like i do, and they love to call when most people are at work or asleep (10am).
Another call on my husband's cell phone. Neil Goldsmith from the CDC. We are on the DNC list. Annoying.
They are calling me on my cell phone. I only give that number to my doctors, family and very close friends, and sometimes a local company who is doing repairs on my house. How did they get my number? This is disturbing to me. No survey, political group, etc. should be calling cell numbers.
CDC is in Atlanta. Seems from reading the call is apparently coming form UofC. IF they are involved in a survey, by conducting it for or hosting the entity will do, they will know it. They also won't like this sort of crap coming out of thier campus if it isn't alegit or is spurious. I should think that the CDC is allegedly involved would immediately be qualified with the location of the institution from which the survey is being conducted and what is the survey itself.the CDC itself will know if this is all legitimate or no, do ask them on it, they CAN get to the bottom of it and will do.Frankly, I think what we have here is phishing, definitely not covered by DNC, nor are legitmate surveys, for that matter. Neither is telemarketing by definition.
These people have called me no less than 6 times in the past week. I was called last night and had finally had it and said that I have no desire to participate and that I wanted to be removed from whatever list they are using. I then was yelled at for not taking the time to answer questions about "something that is very serious and affects kids." We'll see if I am removed from whatever list they are using and stop getting these calls. If these people are the best the CDC can hire; I'm concerned.
