Caller identified himself as Daniel and was doing a survey for Western Union. I told him not to call me again and hung up.

I called their corporate office in Chicago (Synovate) and asked them to stop calling me. An operator provided me with the help desk number at 866-320-4607. There is an automated service to remove your number from their computerized calling center. I just did it and hope the calls stop in the next few days. We'll see. If not, I'll call their corporate office every time I get a call from them. The corporate office number is: 312 526 4000. I figure that might get it taken care of. :)

Several calls, later in the evening,when the answer machine picks up the hang up leaving no message.

Received a call from here two nights in a row. When answering it was clear that someone was there but then heard the hang up click

Don't blame you for being more than a little annoyed...but this is probably a robo call, all of which are illegal. However, the govt is clueless as to how to stop them as they have offered a reward to any citizen which can come up with a technological solution to the problem.

Answered the phone, woman identified herself as a representative of BMO Bank, and wanted to initiate a 'customer satisfaction survey'... Then she said she wanted to know if I was the person responsible for the account. She didn't even know my name. (If she was calling as a BMO representative she would have been able to provide ME with details, rather than ask me to provide them...) I told her I didn't have time now, and she said she will call back. (I won't answer when she does because has all the earmarks of a scam.)

Called yesterday and again today; I didn't answer, don't intend to.
