This number was on my caller ID and it said SYNOVATE..When I looked this up online it's a Global Marketing Survey Co..supposedly!!
Just received a call from this number, tried to call back, and receive a message that all circuits were busy
NUMBER COMES UP BUT YOU CAN NOT CALL IT BACK.AND IT SEEMS TO BE AN ON GOING PROBLEM WITH OTHERS AS WELL.
I got calls four nights in a row from Synovate 13127751287I have politely explained that I do not want to participate, and the last call on Sunday, 7/25/10, I was told that there is nothing I can do to keep them from calling. Guess I need to start calling consumer protection agencies about the Synovate Global Opinion Panel Scam.
Got several calls from 312-775-1287. Decided to answer this time and he said he was conducting market research. He asked questions about civic and community event attendance and political contacts. Asked other unrelated questions which I politely declined and he said thank you and hung up.
Have gotten missed calls from this number several times this past week and today. I haven't answered and they don't leave a message. Has anyone actually talked to a real person from this number?
