The robocallers and most telespammers never wait for the machine to pick up. One of 100 leaves a robomessage.
Caller ID read "Member Services". Usually I don't answer calls from numbers like this, but I had recently signed up for something, so thought it might be connected. Picked up to hear a recording talking about home break-ins. I would assume it someone selling alarm systems and monitoring. I am on the Do Not Call list, which these people obviously ignore, which means I would NEVER do business with them. Hung up before the next sentence was started.
Call identified as "MEMBER SERVICES." Rang weirdly, then hung up before answering system could come on. Yet another scam the "Do not Call" list does nothing about. Ho. Hum.
I've received numerous calls from these folks at "Member Services". If I don't recognize a name or phone number on my caller ID, I pick up the receiver by the second ring, (before the call goes to my voicemail), and hang up without answering. I keep hoping these callers will think they have reached a disconnected phone number and eventually stop calling. But maybe that's just wishful thinking on my part :-(

I called the Chase number on the back of my card and they said they had NOT called me, said it was scammers. I had two calls on my machine asking me to call them back.

Claim to be discover card. I don't have that disreputable card and haven't had one for 20 years, so they have no reason to call me. Very suspicious.
Wellcare never calls you, they send out notices. This is second call I’ve got from two separate phone numbers stating they are Wellcare. Scam
