You have to keep in mind though that the drug addicts and alcoholics that occupy the cubicles don't choose the numbers. They are given a list to call from. It used to be a thick stack of computer printout (I had a friend that used to do this and I visited him at "work" a few times), but I suppose now the numbers are either on a computer screen, or more likely, the computer just automatically calls the next number when the drone pushes a button. No, usually they get fired because they got stoned/high one too many times and didn't show up for work.
Got a call from 313-355-5255 just now. Caller ID said "Illegal Scam". They usually are but this was a first. They didn't leave a message on the machine.
I got the same thing. Didn't want to hear speil about a home security thing, so I hung up - it was a recording.
This is hysterical. Apparently someone has "hacked the hacker". I received a call a couple of hours ago and caller ID said "313-355-5255 Illegal Scam". I did answer and it was a robocall offering, I think, a home security system. I'm not sure, I was laughing so hard I only heard part of it.
Caller ID said "Illegal Scam", like THAT would make me want to answer the call. LOL! Thanks to my Pro-Call Blocker, I simply hit the blacklist button. It hangs up on them and they cannot call back. Best $60 I ever spent. Blocks 1200 calls
I got this call as 'member services', but figured it was a scam, so I ignored it. After coming here to check out the the number, I see I was right.

I called the Chase number on the back of my card and they said they had NOT called me, said it was scammers. I had two calls on my machine asking me to call them back.

Claim to be discover card. I don't have that disreputable card and haven't had one for 20 years, so they have no reason to call me. Very suspicious.
