im getting really enoyed by these scamers

OK, So I used to work the "The Pisa Group", that is who this company is. They handle newspaper accounts accross the country, they aren't a scam, but they are annoying. They are hired by different newspapers, ie, Oklahoma, Texas, Californina, Virginia, all over, including right here in St. Louis, to offer special promotions, and lower rates. I quit quite sometime ago, after over a year, but I recently signed up for the local paper here, and NOW I am getting calls every day myself from them, with some bigger and better deal. They have 6 locations throughout St. Louis, so although you may have told one to quit, the other office will probably continue to call. If you go to, www.thepisagroup.com , it will give you all the branches, phone numbers, and manager numbers, pitch a big enough fit, and they will take your number directly in and put you on the DNC list. If we got an irrate customer, we would hand write the number, give it to the boss on duty, and they would update the list immediately. Hope this helps some!

Whether landline, cell phone, cable or Morse code, the Do Not Call list DOES NOT WORK! Best thing to do is block the calls as they come in. I purchased a Panasonic set that has call blocker built in. If a call comes in that I don't recognize, I hit the call block button. Next time that number calls, and it will, all I get is the phone lighting up...no ring...no answer...no messages! GREAT!!

Please stop hating on these people for doing their job. It is not a scam to sell you a newspaper. It is not the government's fault that these people are calling you. They got your phone number legally to call through your local paper or magazine company and are calling you with legit offers. You gave them your phone number, so if you dont want them to call you, all you have to do is ask. Don't you have a job at which you try to make money by offering some product or service? Don't hate these people for doing the same. Just find out who is calling and let them know that you would like them to stop.

I get a call from this number everyday and have for months in spite of registering on the Do Not Call registry. Whoever they are, they're in the St. Louis area and solicit everything from subscritions to carpet and duct cleaning.

I have received 11 calls from the above number. I tried calling back, but get busy signal. I don't answer as I have caller ID with my Cable. How can I stop this calls?

They have to be scammers. I do not live in Texas but they are calling me. So what are they going to be selling me?
