Done girl called from this number and asked for me but messed up how to say it and corrected herself.then she giggled and hung up! I tried to call back and can't ...
It said "Service call" on the Caller ID, so I answered thinking it was about my husband's car service or something. It wasn't a guy, it was a woman. When they asked for my husband by name and if he was home, I said, "No, this is his wife." She immediately hung up.I presume the number is spoofed. Spammers and scammers have gotten around the Do Not Call list by spoofing numbers so they can't be reported for their illegal calls. I hope that the phone companies will find a way to prevent spoofing numbers by these jerks.I usually let any calls that I don't recognize go to voice mail. I obviously need to stick with that policy and let the callers who actually have honest business with us just leave a message.
We have recently been getting multiple stray calls from 315 area code including this one. I picked up the call this morning, and there was a brief pause followed by some knucklehead coughing in my ear to clear his throat. If a caller is not ready to talk to me immediately when I say "hello," I'm hanging up on them. Time to block this number if possible.
I just got a call from this number asking for my husband. First they asked I was "Mrs. ---" mispronouncing my husband's last name. But since I don't have my husband's last name, I said, "no." I asked who it was, and they said "Auto Processing." Then they asked to talk to my husband using his first name, like they knew him and it was important. I asked what they wanted and they told me they could only talk to my husband or his wife, and since I wasn't Mrs. ---- .. I cut him off and said, "There is no Mrs. --- but I am his wife, so why don't you cut to the chase and tell me what you want?" And the jerk hung up.
We should all file sue on the phone company, after a # of complants that not being taken care of
I received a call from this number. I explained this is a new phone number for my business and the person was very unprofessional, amost confrontational, but said he would remove the number from his list.

I am on the do not call list but get a call from this number every day. I never answer calls that do not identify themselves. This just says service call....... Very annoying.......needs to stop !!!!!!!
After telling the operator I do not want to receive these kind of calls, she called me an [***]. LOL, I am glad I made her day.
Just received a phone call from this number identified as "Service Call". Woman asked if I was interested in extending my warrenty on my car that recently expired. Never identified who she was, or what company she represented. When I said yes, I was transfered to a guy. Same thing, wanted to know if I was intrested. As soon as I pressed for further information on what company if worked for he hung up. I callled the number back, and you get a recoding that the number is not serviceable. She knew my first name, and make and model of my car.
