Have gotten numerous calls from these folks. Finally answered the phone to see what the deal was. My experience was just the same as what other people are reporting. Don't know what this guy's deal is, but stay far away from this, if you can.

CALL THE FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION - 1-877-382-4357. I just reported my complaint to them and they advised me that they have received numerous complaints a while back, but now they are starting to "Scam" people again. This is the ONLY way to fix this and the FTC has enforcement power via local law enforcement.

We have gotten calls from this number for the last 2 days straight. They say nothing! It's very frustrating. I wish more could be done about these calls! It should be a crime of some sort, to invade other's privacy like this! Thank you...

Extended warranty scam. These goobers buy your info from your state motor vehicle department and then call you wanting to offer you a grossly overpriced "extended warranty".They would NOT send me the details of the coverage when I requested it, so I am pretty sure this is a scam -and- that the 'warranty' probably isn't worth as much as the paper it's NOT printed on.I have gotten calls like this every time I transferred a vehicle into my name. It is not just one company doing this, but several. You'll also get these stupid "Second Notice" or "Final Notice" mailers from these same scammers via snail mail. Look at them and you'll notice a HUGE red flag. No physical address for this warranty company - and nothing other than an 800 number to contact them. Wait six months and try that number again - it'll be disconnected - they've moved on to another number.I've gotten to where when these idiots call me offering this stuff, I just tell them that I SOLD the car recently and I don't drive any more due to glaucoma. I take the bus.Just a rip-off.

Just received a call from "Service call" from this number. We live in SC, the call comes from NY. He asked about one of our cars, said he could only talk to the registered owner. I re-dialed the number, and a recording said that "No one is available to take your call at the moment, goodbye." This is some kind of scam. Either they are trying to reposses, steal the car if no one answers, or sell a bogus warranty. Our number is also on the do not call list. Will report to police and the Federal Trade Commission.

The number belongs to a company that offers those useless overpriced extended protection services for your automobile.The ones that have all the fine print and bascially cover nothing when you need it because everything is an act of God or what not. Rubbish…

We have gotten 3 calls from this number. Thanks to called ID I did not answer and let it go to the answering service. No messages were left.Looks like a Job for NC Atty. Gen.We are also on the do not call list?

They've suddenly been calling us recently at least once a day, if it looks like telesales we don't usually answer. It comes up as Auto Proc Dept so same as other ppl reported. This time I did pick up and I there was no answer. We've always been on the do not call list, bought our car for cash and don't buy extended warranties & obviously it makes no difference!

Just received a phone call from this person. Caller ID said it was from an Auto Proc Dept. Couldn't even pronounce our last name right. I told him we don't give donations over the phone and he proceeded to say he worked for an Auto warranty place. I told him we were good to go and hung up on him. Didn't give him time to hang up on me. These people are scammers and need to be stopped. I have reported so many of these callers. The calls just keep on coming. I feel I should not have to change my phone number just to stop these calls. I have many numbers blocked on my phone. These are harassing calls to me.
