We also received a call from this number . They knew the year and make and model of our car and my husband's name. They also said that they were calling from a Warranty Company. Told us that the warranty was getting ready to run out ..............WRONG !!!!!!
Keep getting a call from 315-939-1963 and when I answer there is no one there. When I call back I get a recording stating that the number is not good
They hung up on me too. I knew something was up, as soon as they knew the jig was up, the guy just hung up on me.
Company wants to sell maintenance insurance on my son's jepp that he no longer owns but won't take no for an answer
Same as many here....a call from a vehicle warranty type company wanting to make sure I knew that my car's warranty was running out. I told him that I had "fixed" that at the dealership and that I told "them" this when last they called and to not call me any more. At this point he hung up on me abruptly, which is what made me want to research the number a little more.
This happened to me today too. These losers tried to sell me extended warranty on a 2012 car. Really? When they figured the jig was up they pretty much hung up on me. I'm still pretty concerned that they had so much information about me. And their initial tactic was to pretend like they were representing Chrysler.
Got a call from this number today as well (as well as yesterday but nobody was here to answer and no message was left). Guy said he was calling from the auto processing dept. Asked to speak to my husband. I handed the phone to him. the guy told my husband he was calling from the vehicle recovery dept and that he had an order to repossess my husband's car. My husband told him to come get it and he would take care of him. then my husband hung up. the guy called right back, my husband answered the phone and told the guy that his car is paid for and if he comes here he will be in trouble. the guy then hung up. the guy knew my husband's name, our phone number of course, the make and model of the car. He said nothing about auto warranty stuff but we have from time to time gotten those papers in the mail telling us our warranty was about to run out. they were junk mail of course and we threw them in the trash. I also reported this call and number to our local police.
Hey folks, you all seem REALLY upset. I get that. The calls you described sound nightmarish. So I will be brief, mainly because I know none of you will believe me. First off the vehicle Processing Department isn't really a place or a thing. It's the opening script line for about 2000 different companies selling extended warranties for vehicles. Not all of them are scams. I work for one. in fact I even used my name so that if i call you and you recognize the name you will know that the company i work for is the real deal. we have an A+ rating with the BBB and we do our best to keep it. As for us being heartless cowards,or [***] as some like to put it, realize that we are all working like you to feed our families
