My son thought he would be smarter and not pay the money he owed for writing worthless checks and just like Investigator Scott told him, he was arrested and now has to pay $1000s of dollars more to get out of this trouble - after he spent 24 days in jail. She never lied to us, only tried to help my son - I wish that we had taken her advice, now it is too late.

You should really think back to what the investigator told you. She works out of Indiana but the charges would be filed through the county where the crime occured. Trust me - my son and I wish that we would have listened to Investigator Scott and taken her advice - my son spent 24 days in jail and owes thousands more than the amount she was willing to accept to prevent the charges from being filed. The only person that was a scam in my son's case was my son he borrowed the money, wrote a bad check and he is now paying the price for it. If Investigator Scott is willing to work with you before the charges are filed - you should junp on it - felony charges will change your life!

Received a call from this number, investigator Scott said she works for the district attorney office in the county I live in and that my case was 2years old and wanted me to pay over 1400.00 to Steele out of court. I contacted the district attorneys office and she does not work for them and she does not have the power to issue warrants in other county's. district attorney told me not to talk to her. He further told me that the status of limitation was up for this offense she has mentioned. The district attorney will not arrest you. Call your local district attorney they will tell you if you have a warrant in your county. Don't get scamed.

A true police office will not call your family and tell them you are going to be arrested they will just show up and arrest you. Call your local District Attorney they will tell you about investigator Scott... They will also tell you if you have warrants.
