This number called me twice in a row at 230 n the morning

Alright. I actually do work at City Tele Coin. Lets get a few things straight. 1. It is ALWAYS an inmate calling. We have no control over it as we are NOT in the jails with them. Voice can be garbled as many, MANY inmates do no want to speak up or mumble quite a bit. Its a scary or depressing time, they don't always want to say their name loud.2. You can call us at 1-800-682-0707 to block the facility from calling you. We never mind. Open from 8 AM to 11 PM central time.3. We DO NOT set the price of the jail calls, as the state does. And AT&T does NOT own ANY collect calls. Do some research here...the collect calls you accept from anywhere are being billed through 3rd parties. ALWAYS. 4. There are Fee's involved, and we tell you about ALL of them should you listen to the disclaimer during payment.5. Be kind...we are people too, we dont set out to be evil. In fact a MAJOR part of why CTC has live operators is to help inmates out and find out what they might be needing. Do you want to be cussed out by someone who knows nothing about you? 6. A big one here...the money you pay to the jail for calls...that goes back to ..guess where...THE JAILS. Well the Sheriffs actually...but they put dam near all of it into providing schooling, detox, church, hell even basketball goals for the inmates. Why? Well get this...they actually DO CARE. They do their jobs, but people hate them unfairly. All because they just dont take the time to actually KNOW what is going on.Now think about this...if the calls and other services didnt provide money to the jails...where would it come form?YOU?Are you willing to pay extra taxes?, take time to work at the jail?, donate you clothes and food?.People say that we are truly evil...that we care about nothing but profit.Little do they know that there are those who do what they can to watch over and assist those who don't appreciate it.So. Next time you see this number...or call into it. Take heed and try to really understand what you talking about. We are human and dont roll around in cash. We have hard times...I barley make it through some nights without crying when I think about how hard the next week...month..or year may be. That all said.Please...have a good day. Sincerely. This number works for many places. I got a collect call from this number but the person had just been arrested and was in Arkansas, asking for bail. This was a family member. This number is more than likely someone you know calling you collect from jail.

i received a call from this number and couldn't understand the message. Listened several times and decided to google the phone number to find out it is a scam from louisiana. We don't know anyone in jail or in Louisiana.

a call was made from Franklin County jail. Sounded like a male voice. Couldn't understand what he said -very whispery
