Received call from above number. Said it was prepaid phone card from Blount County prison. The caller said "Hi, mom" so I hung up. Then called back and said "This is Josh", so hung up again.
They have called me five times in the past two days to tell me I have a long distance phone call from "Chris" and I do actually have a friend named Christian in jail right now who I talk to every day but he says his full name and he calls himself a Christian when he calls and I can tell this person is not him but his voice is very similar. When they call my phone I don't have the number saved obviously but it comes up as "Scam Likely"
Got a collect call from the same number only it claimed to be from the Stephens County Jail. It's just a scam.
This # 318-746-1250 been calling constantly and i dont answer coz too much of scam and i dont know anyone from that #
They left a pre recorded message on my voice make stating the call is through tele coin. The recorded part, a male with an African-American accent said, "This is your son". Then I was given options, press one to charges, press 2 for balances, etc. Since I only have daughters, I assumed it was just a wrong number.

I called the Chase number on the back of my card and they said they had NOT called me, said it was scammers. I had two calls on my machine asking me to call them back.

Claim to be discover card. I don't have that disreputable card and haven't had one for 20 years, so they have no reason to call me. Very suspicious.
