When I answered, there was no response. I called the number back and got the 'number not in service' message. The number is now blocked.

I am also on no call registry and they called me as well.

Called three times back to back. Blocked them based on what has been reported here.

Didn't answer the call, and they left no message. As a rule I know who is going to be calling me and if a number is not in my phone already, I let it go to voice mail. I'm in charge of answering a phone call or not, and it makes not one bit of difference if it's a legitimate caller or a scam. Just don't answer numbers you don't recognize, and you'll be fine.

automated voice asks for (grandsons name)....then: if you are not (name), please press one, if you are going to another room to get (name) to come to the phone, press two. Since I'm not (grandson) and he's not here so I can't go to another room to get him...........I hang up.

Do not answer! Once you answer they got you and will keep calling using different # . These people should be arrested for harassment. Watch out for the elderly that you know and love and give them the heads up.

Just got a call from this number (401-583-4565) on my work cell. Didn't recognize the number so I looked it up here. Never answer calls from unrecognizable numbers. If it is really important then they will leave a message.
