These people call me every day to help me reduce my credit card interest rate, I have hung up and then they call me back! They say "this may be your final chance to lower it" and then to press 1 or 2 which of course I never do.
Got a call just a while ago from this number. I don't think these people would keep calling if all of us got a person on the line, then screamed through the phone into their ears as loud as we could, which is what I plan to do the next time they call. I'm pretty sure that would stop it from happening for a long time.
Yes - I have been getting calls everyday from these people. One time I cussed them out, they called right back from another number and harassed me. Today I went through the prompts. The woman gave me the whole story. When I asked the address and name of her company, she hung up on me.
Been receiving calls on my cell from this number. No message. Calls at various times... weekday evenings, weekday nights, Saturday mornings. Never leaves a message.
Caller ID said Rhode Island. I do not know anyone in Rhode Island did not answer and they left no message.
One of the things you can do about this is not ever.. not ever answer calls on your cell if its a number you don't know. That will help because when you answer you show the caller or the bot that's calling that its a good number they called.... if you stop answering numbers you don't know your cell number won't be as valuable for scammers to sell to other scammers. ITS GOT NOTHING TO DO WITH THE DO NOT CALL LIST. That's like complaining that criminals don't properly register their guns.
