Fake Number.The call rang, but nobody was there when I picked up. Returned the call, but the number came back as Not In Service.
I just got a called, my reaction was that! I don't know anyone in Rhode Island. I tell every body if you don't know the number don't answer. Is a shame that you place your number in the donotcallregistry.com so you avoid this and still this people find their way. Thanks to every one that posted here. We helps to prevent people getting scammed.
They just called me 5 times in under 1 minute. I answered once, and they're definitely scammers.
I do not answer any calls from numbers not listed in my address book.401-583-4565 came up, didn't answer and no message left.Wish I had the card number for a few people I hate, if I did I would start answering these types of calls.LOL
I NEVER answer calls from numbers I don't recognize since I went cell service only. From what I've read here, it still looks like a good policy!They left no message. Someone using this number called, when I answered there seemed to be there cut I said "hello" twice and no one said a thing. I hung up. If it was a collector they would not only answer but keep you on the line for as long as it took.

Yes. The caller claimed to represent Document Delivery Services and threatened to serve me with papers from a fifteen year old debt. A check with my local County Clerk’s Office revealed no evidence of lawsuit filed.
