They are a pain with all the phone calls

all you people do not know what you are talking about. i am a walgreen pharmacist . this refill line is for real .each stores computer is set up that when your prescription is filled the computer is set to call your phone number that we have on file 10 days prior to the time that your prescription is to be eligeble to be refilled . this is a courtesy to everyone . so quit making up stuff , just to have a conversation on the internet with someone . in other words GET A HOBBY .

I got a call from this number around 10 AM. It said "WALGREENS REFIL" on my caller ID. but, the call is not even from the state I live in, so I didn't pick up. Plus I am up to date on my meds, and do not use this service when they call me for refill reminders, so I have no clue why they called. Then when I checked my messages, they didn't leave a message, so why are they calling me? There was just a couple seconds of silence, though you could tell someone was on the other end of the line, then they hung up. Weird.

I like this. I have actually given them the name "AutoRefill Call" so I will actually answer it when it calls me. It is handy and it even contacts my doctor when I need refills. Once in awhile unsolicited calls are good ;-)

Hmmm. After reading these comments I'm not sure it really is Walgreens. The refill service calls from Florida.

Its Walgreens. This service is useful because i would forget to ick up half our scripts without it.

You just posted your number for all to see, and some to spam - congratulations.It is Walgreens, but when I call the local store, they have no info.I know I didn't sign up for it.Comes across my caller ID readout as Omaha NE

Small things to a giant. If u can use the service,do so. If not , quit crying over spilled milk. After all, it's only a service intended to help you. More things in life to gripe about. Get REAL PEOPLE!
