Yes, scammer spoof legit numbers. BUT if you do answer the call and it is an automated service, and you respond as outlined above by BobW (i.e. go thru the automated menus and essentially say yes, refill my Rx for medication XXX) then at that point wouldn't you KNOW it is not a scammer spoofing the number? Especially since when you go to Walgreens they have refilled your Rx.Since many people use this refill service (I personally use the email version) I would suggest this:- Obviously you were concerned about an unknown caller, that is why you are looking up this number in the first place- Now that you know this number COULD be legit, OR could be someone spoofing the number (as can happen with ANY number, even your Mom's of Grandmother's) just DON'T answer it and THEN call the number back and order your refillThis way, if the call came from a 'spoof' but you call back the real number you will know if you were spoofed when the Walgreens computer tell you you don't have an Rx available for refill

Apparently, people here are saying this call is from Walgreens to refill their prescription. Though, I don't have any prescriptions from Walgreens, which is odd.

i just got the call as well. it was to remind me my prescription was ready to be refilled. if your getting calls otherwise maybe it's for a relative that used your phone. or it could be someone put the wrong number.

M location Caller ID shows OMAHA NE 402-220-1100. No message left on machine.

I don't have any prescriptions, yet this number calls me like once per month. It is really annoying and I don't trust it at all. Like I said, I've never had any prescriptions so something is off. Call me a tin foil hat enthusiast but at least I know not to give personal info to someone unless I called them, not the other way around.

This is a fraudulent caller. I contacted my local Walgreens and they confirmed at the pharmacy that this number does not belong to their company and instructed that I report and block the number. Walgreens automated refill reminders never ask you to call them back at an 800 number and they don't ask you for any personal information.

Or you don't USE Walgreens AT all!

Calls from represcriptipns

got a call from this number. went to voice msg. but they didnt leave one. I believe its a scam. Since Walgreens usually calls you from their local number and leaves a voice msg.. i am puting this in my contact list as scam43. if they dont know me enough to leave a msg. then too bad. send me a post card. attn: my name and address.
