Asking about my business and unfortunately I almost gave them some information like number of employees which can be done with just D&B search
I think it was a recording. It's a weird sounding kinda nasally guy saying "Hello? Hello? I think I have the wrong number." but I could have sworn I heard a recording like this before where the same voice sounds like he's talking to you, but is obviously a recording.
Called my business, and after I repeated my business name, the man on the other end said, "I'm sorry, I think I have the wrong number" and hung up.
Picked up and it was a recorded message of a man saying, "Hello? Hello? Oh, I'm sorry, I think I must have the wrong number." They're obviously trying to see which numbers are active so we can get more annoying phone calls at our place of business. Ugghh....
This number called our office last night after hours. The caller didn't leave a message on our answering machine.
