Called my business line twice so far today. I don't have blocking for that line, so I just pick-up/hang-up and hope they flag the number as "dead" on their end. I know better than to engage them in any way. They're crooks. Asking them to put you on their do-not-call list is about as effective as asking a street thug to put you on his do-not-mug list.
Ear-piercing voice from a woman asking my company name, physical address, and stating she is from the "Chamber of Commerce" after I asked her multiple time, and promptly asking again for physical address. When asked which one, she replies "American Chamber of Commerce, what is your physical address?" Never wavering from her questions no matter what I said. Feels fishy, hung up on her, then realized it was the same number that called earlier in the afternoon without leaving a message.
they said they were updating mailing address and contact information for Chamber of Commerce, when I asked them which Chamber of Commerce, they said Thank you, and hung up. This is a Scam company, phishing information or putting you on some new kind of mailing list. We too are on the Do not call list
Pulled the "wrong number" thing on us. Called my boss's office in mid-afternoon on a Saturday. Voice mail took the call. Person (probably recorded voice) mumbled about "wrong number" while voice mail greeting played, then hung up. I agree with others who believe this is a computerized dialer hunting for active numbers.
The sorry sum biches called on a Sunday on Mother's Day W T F , f**k these useless no good sorry sum biches
called and a recording voice of a male said "hello, hello...oh sorry I think I have the wrong number" and hung up.
