The problem is that these guys are telephone surveyors. They are explicitly NOT subject to the do not call registry. Talk about annoying. I talked to them and requested not to be called again every.

No one was there, but when i tried to call right back it said i needed a carrier access code whatever that means. I am on the do not call list as well. Very annoying!!!!!!!!!!!

i have a whistle and use it after i have told them twice not to call back. the third time is the charm for me. it has worked every time i use it.

I returned a call from the number in question and an automated voice says" Thank you for calling Consurgys consumer intelligence service". It states that I was called to invite me to participate in a consumer product survey so"My voice could be heard" (Lucky me huh?) It did however offer a chance to leave a message and have my ph. number removed from their lists or to speak to a manager. Of course I opted to NOT leave my phone # or speak to a manager. I did however block this number on my home phone. I have VOIP phone service which does not use a conventional phone company. My ph.number is next to impossible to locate but somehow these Consurgys Jack o_ _ s were able to secure my number (probably purchased from a third party internet company which I had communicated with at some point??) By blocking their # on my phone they get a busy signal and then disconected so their phone goes back to a dial tone. Most ph. company giants have this feature as well.

i haven't used home depot products or had any dealings with them in 18 months so they shouldn't be calling me.

That sounds about right. In a previous message I thought they said Consurgys but Convergys is probably more like it. As you said it is somewhat difficult to hear. I do not have Signa though. I believe I read earlier that this phone number may be a 'link' for various businesses conducting vastly different activities. A follow up phone call regarding a prior service or change to a service is great customer service, thumbs up on that! Thumbs down however on a marketing cold call, whether they're selling or not. A certain phone number is a certain phone number so it remains a mystery as to how 402-491-2800 works. Red Lobster is not McDonalds and so forth. This is getting very interesting.

HINT: Add the number to your cell phone contacts and give them a special ring such as Silent or Vibrate or something to minimize the disruption.I am also on the National Do Not Call Registry...

T-Mobile Cell phone useri missed the call and no message was left.
