got a call - once they started talking about some kind of survey i pressed END then added them to my block list thru my cell phone provider. THEY won't be calling me again. i don't care who they are calling for - don't waste my cell phone minutes.

The call came in at 7:22 pm on Monday, it said Convergys Corpo.

hey smartie, you sound like you have a lot of free time. why don't you aggregate those 1-2 free minutes you have a day and come do my laundry? some people do business on their cellphones so if you are getting a number for non business related purposes, it is an interruption. for your information, i do work in market research but i do not consider myself entitled to people's time. i am guessing you answer prank calls and let those guys have fun ?

DNC complaints ARE NOT followed up on or investigated! if you read the "fine print" it says that should an investigation be called on for a specific company, then complaint files will be scanned for complaints filed against that particular company. when you file a complaint nobody looks at that individual complaint and does anything. it just all goes into a data bank.what triggers and investigation? i don't know. perhaps it's the result of complaints to the FTC or your State AG office. case in point- for going on 8 years at least i have been getting dozens of calls every month from Card Member Services, the place with the robo-calls that wants to reduce your credit card interest rate. the voice is usually "Rachel". you are asked to press a number to talk to someone. the original number that shows up on caller ID is always forged. i have had it show as a cell phone call, various companies or names close to ones i recognize. I have no less than 45 numbers from them blocked. i spoke to a human there once to ask that they stop calling me and he called me a motherf****r, a c**ksucker, and all manner of other names. i hung up on him and they still call.my point is that there are thousands of people with similar experiences and worse from this same outfit. even if they are overseas, they still solicit for US banks and financial institutions. with all the violations of law, the DNC lists, and even common courtesy, nobody is doing or has done ANYTHING to stop them!. the whole DNC thing is like a lock on your door- it only helps keep the honest people honest.if you are truly of the mind to complain- contact the FTC and the state AG office. filing a complaint at the DNC site is like complaining to a rock: it can't hear, doesn't care, and nothing will come of it.

You know what would be funny....... Leave the number to the District Atty's office or Police Office or something like that......
