This number keeps showing up on my cell phone, I am also on the do not call list. I have never picked up, yet they keep calling.

I work at a bank and this is a scam several of our customers have had issues recently with these scammers . Please be careful and do not give out any personal information.

if you don't answer it would not cost you money. you have caller id, if you see this number just do not pick up, is it really that hard to figure out?

I got calls from this number for like 2 weeks before I actually got one while I was there to answer it. It was a survey about my most recent bank visit. If you are going to get mad at anyone for this, it should be the bank or whatever that gave your name and number to the survey company. That's how they got your cell numbers. If you gave a cell number to the bank as a way to contact you, that's the number they are going to call.

This number is Gallop Polls. It's not telemarketing or anything scarey. You can tell them to not call you again.

Caller ID listed Gallup Org. But when I answered the guy on the other end just casually kept saying "Hello?" Then he hung up. If it is Gallup, why are there so many complaints. They are usually professional. If it is not Gallup, what is the point of calling then hanging up when answered.

Just do not answer when you see numbers you do not know what is so hard about this?

That would probably work... if your No Call list protected you from anything other than Telemarketing calls. Market Research and Opinion Surveys do not fall into these categories.Please people, read the contracts you sign and stop hiding behind your ignorance like a shield.
