Hey genius, there are several companies that do this. For example, some companies such as Enterprise car rental (they use Maritz Research) use customer service follow up calls to get an idea of where their best locations are, worst locations, who deserves a promotion and who deserves to be fired.

Calls once or twice per week with voice msg "Brandon from CTS" call me back. WTF is CTS? No context, no real msg.
Phone number calls multiple times a day, once someone from my office picks up, it is dead silence on the other line. When you try to call back, it is a number that is not in service.
