Got a call today 6/16/10 , 5:28 pm and they just hung up on me.Caller ID says Gallup Org The

Survey....called me 3 times! Twice I told the operator to take my cellphone number off their list! It was a well being survey for New York State, I live in NY and I told them, who cares.

Calling literally everyday between 5 and 6 pm est. I never answer it but this really has to stop. I get home around 5 pm everyday, I sit down on the couch and sure enough the phone rings from 402-952-4444(GALLUP).

They've called here no fewer than five times the past week, said they are taking a survey for Gallup. Last week my husband told them we don't respond to surveys. Today I politely asked to be removed from their call list. The bozo on the other end said "Sorry ma'am, we don't work from a list." I said "so you pull the numbers out of your A$$?" The turd hung up.

Just answer the phone and speak like you are an alien from outer space, that will drive them crazy!

I'm pretty sure 800 numbers (like bill collectors) charities looking for donations and people doing surveys are exempt from the Do Not Call Registry. So, some of them use this, like make out they are taking a survey. I just got a call from this it says Gallup Poll on the Caller ID. I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message. Let them keep calling, it's annoying but I don't answer if I don't know who it is, or what they might want. I have reported calls to the Do Not Call Reg and they still keep calling, I finally gave up.

Didn't leave message, called back, got recording that it was the Gallop poll wanting to ask my opinion on a gallop survey and that they are only calling to ask my opinion on the survey topic and that they won't be trying to sell me anything.That last bit probably lets them off the hook for calling numbers on the DNC list.

Regardless how important this call would b.. Unless its my family its not important 2 me. If I wanted infomation on anything ill research it and dnt need sum [***] callin me. Its like bible thumpers bangin on my door.. If I wanted 2 join a church I would go
