Just got a phone call From Rogers telling me I had just Won XXXX ammount of dollars.. I HUNG up ..because usually this spells scam .. if you havn't entered any contest or havn't recieved a txt from your service provider announcing anything the like.. SCAM .. Don't press anything or call back numbers they request .. you never know what kind of trouble will result if you do .. if you are unsure contact your service provider directly,
I live in Vancouver but have an Edmonton number and also got a call from mysterious Mr.Mains.
got called at 4:00 PM Vancouver,BC 2009/09/14. voice message for won $1,600 travel dollar.
Number came up on the display just after 10:00 this morning. Didn't recognize it, didn't answer, they didn't leave a message.
Just missed a call from 403-201-9988...they didn't leave a message. I am a telus customer
received a call from this number saying i just won 1000 travel dollars! woo hoo! i just need to press "1". I didn't, as my cellphone is a work phone. these are scammers.
I just got the call on my Bell work phone - no message.No result on Canada411 in the people directory, did the reverse lookup for business and came across all you guys. :DI think i got the message on my home machine the other day, given what has been said here about the message.
