What does posting here do? Will it stop the calls? I've gotten several "lower your interest rate" calls from various numbers to my cell phone. I hate it!

I've received several of these calls and have filed complaints w/ the Govt. do not call list folks. By the way, my cell phone is on that list. I continue to get the calls and it's the typical response from your bloated federal bureacracy -- nothing changed! I still get the calls. I look at the caller ID number and reject these calls. The Feds won't help you.

Sounds like there are hundreds of complaints from these scam artist [***]. Is there a way for someone to just cut and paste all these complaints to the FTC? I just got a call from these [***] and it's effing up my cell phone minutes. Why are all these calls coming from Florida? Bible Belt country?

I have a long list of phone numbers - including this one - logged in my phone. They're all spams and scams. It is my understanding that the Do Not Call registry only applies to legitimate businesses. What do scammers (like this #) care if you're on the list or not? They don't! If the government (local or national) knew who they were or what they've been up to - trying to scam credit card numbers off of people - they would be shut down or arrested! That is why you will keep getting scam calls even if you're on the DNC registry - these are illegal operations who don't care about the rules. The above posted is right. Do NOT answer - they will only keep calling. My stupid cell phone service will only let me block 5 numbers at a time, out of the 20+ scam and spam callers that have called me in the last few months. The way I deal with them is to block the 5 that call the most, and assign the rest of the numbers a contact in my phone. I then set that contact to silent ring, so even though I can't stop them from calling my cell, at least when they do call, it won't bother me with ringing.

Got a call from this number on my cell phone....no idea who they are. Didn't leave a message.

Fake, fake, fake!They are calling from a spoofed number. They just called my cell phone tonight, and not the first time. It's Rachel from Card Services. F___ing C___! Now I always hit <1> to speak with someone. Tonight I asked "What's the deal?" and the guy just hung up. Hey, wasted a minute of his time...It's fake. If you call the number back it's not a working number.SCAM, SCAM, SCAM!!

Unknown caller no message left

I got a call from 407-702-0538 tonight and when Itried to call back message says no calls being taken. I put a complaint into the no call registry. I would suggest everyone who gets a call do this,

got a call on my cell from this number and it is and called them back and got"not taking calls at this time"l It is some sort of credit card company
