Chase has been calling me every days for the past 5 days 20 times a day. It is very annoying. I am a bit late with the payment, and they are harassing me with their calls. I don't think their strategy makes me pay faster. I am seriously thinking of moving to a different bank.

Do you care about your credit score for the next 7-10 years? Obviously not, but thats your concern. CC companies will make 55,000 dollars in pretty much no time at all to take care of that debt plus some will take you to court. your bailout may turn into a loss of your house or personal property... bet ya didnt think of that one

FYI, its not harrassment under the law... CC companies cal call u as many times as they would like, once they contact u and u identify yourself, they have to wait till the next day to try again... that report u heard on the news was most likely third party collectors... u think chase is bad? If you dont pay your debt before the charge off date, it gets a lot worse when it gets sold off...

So far today (April 4th, 2007), I have received five calls from this number. I answer the switchboard for a business, and every time they have hung up as soon as I answered. VERY annoying! Since this is a business phone number listed for many people, I have no way of knowing who they are calling for when all they do is hang up.

This is not true. When they call, as they just did, they do not identify themselves as Chase. Someone from this # just called me at work on my cell and asked for my husband. When I identified myself as his wife and asked who was calling, she simply said "Never mind, I'll call back".

They will not stop! They hang up when I answer nasty because I see their number. They claim they can move money from 1 acct to another for me for a future payment due 5 days from now. Do they not realize I can move money on line, myself? or go to the bank? MORONS! Like I would give authorization for a money move over the phone to someone who claims to be from Chase, when the phone # states it is no longer in service, if redialed?
