This is usually a Red Cross donation pick up if it is from Merchandise Pic. Usually they have a caller ID. This time there wasn't one. I don't answer without a caller ID or a voice mail.

This number calls daily several times. They are either crooks, idiots or some other form of lowlife individuals who attempt to gain access to private information or a family's comings and goings. This number needs to be traced and action needs to be taken against these abusers.

They are thrift stores looking for free merchandise. They get your number when you donate to Amvets or the Red Cross. Those real charities should step in and make them stop harassing people or their donations will dry up. Just follow Jojos advice above to block their calls.

These people call numerous times. Have been doing this for months. Lately, they have been calling and if no answer they call back in a few minutes. If this is, indeed, related to the American Red Cross. I will donate my used clothing to the Salvation Army. The Red Cross should be ashamed to associate with these people. There is someone in this house who workes the night shift and is awakened twice around 8Am to 9Am. Then they will call from 7PM to 8 or 9PM. They do not leave a message. I will report this as a harassing call.

Many call from this number at all hours. Picked up to silence, no voice. Contacted my server and have had the number blocked.

This is one more reason to not donate to the corrupt and inept American Red Cross.Ann Anon has the right idea.Give your items to a reputable organization - The Salvation Army.

We get several calls a day from this number. There is never anyone who talks when (my husband) answers (I do not answer). After reading the other posts here I doubt they are a legitimate "charity" organization. If I have things to donate I call Goodwill, Salvation Army or Habitat for Humanity...just saying...or ask the preacher in our neighborhood if he has any needy families that can use my things.
