There are several organization like this, some of which place donation boxes at shopping centers, who collect clothes which are then sold by the pound to overseas organizations. There is no charity about it, other than you are duped into "giving them" the clothes so they can be sold. You are better off to donate them to a local Goodwill or non profit thrift store.

We get calls repeatedly from this number. No one ever leaves a message on our voice mail. If it's so legitimate, wouldn't you think they'd leave a message? Just got a call from them--again. We live in central FL and it's 7:15 at night. I am going to report them to the FCC, to try and get them to stop calling. Even if they are legitiamte, their business practices need a little work, to say the least!

This call comes along 2-3 times per day. No one on the other end. Calls range from 8AM-8PM. Seems that a computer dials and maybe a human picks up when you answer. I used caller ID to return the call and did speak with a human and requested to be removed from the call list. Polite lady entered my number into her computer and asked that I keep them in mind for Red Cross donations. Hope it works. I prefer to donate to local churches anyway. At least then I know the stuff is being ditributed to the needy and not sold to line the pockets of "charity" CEO's.

Have been called weekly by Merchandise Pic. Tonight I answered. I did not get a "Red Cross" call. Mine wanted to do an home energy saving audit. Any day and any time after 10AM. They wanted to show us how to save on our electric bill. They said they are doing to different parts of the state to help home owners lowered their electric bill . Beware of the golden goose.

Yep, I keep getting these calls every single day, 2 and 3 times a day! You would think that they would eventually get the hint that someone does not want to be bothered with yet another solicitation call! What ever happened to the Do Not Call registery??? Does it not work anymore or does it not apply if this is truly some charity collection?

Have been getting calls from these people at all hours, all days.

They keep calling at all different times, but when I decide to pick up the phone, they do not answer. This is very annoying. It is the Merchandise Pic according to the caller ID.

My caller id came on....says Merchandise Pic. Yep, phony name eh? No message left either. Gosh some jobs out there are really (@@@@@@).

Call twice a day at different hours when we answer no one is there , so I say Scam
