Got a call from 407-654-7180. I didn't answer. For the previous 50 years I always answered, always hoping that it was someone wanting to give me money. It took a while for me to catch on to how this charity thing works, but I think I finally figured it out. Any time I don't answer, it was someone who was going to give me money if I had answered, but only if I didn't answer. If I did answer, then they were going to give me money if I had not answered, as long as I answered. It's either that or something else.
just pure harassment from this number I wouldn't give them the time of day. they call from 830 in the morning and I just received a call at 8:45 p.m. strongly suggest blocking number as I have.
Why do we have this calling research when nothing is done about repeated calls????
Telling someone to stop calling you on this website is useless and a waste of time.This is a telemarketing operation for a non-profit group. They get paid by the number of calls they make.If you get taken off their list it is by accident.Quit bitc*&%hing and just ignore the call or get a call blocker.Eleven pages of complaints should have keyed you in to who you are dealing with.
These organizations are really not what you think that they are. Yes, sure it's a "donation" but the donation is to sell rags and other materials to industrial outlets that use them for general clean-up of spills, machinery leaks, etc. That's what you are donating to, a "recycling" business–– rag pickers! So it isn't precisely a scam unless they tell you it's to help the poor or some other crap line like that…
