Got a call from Merchandise Pic this AM about 8:20, this is the third morning call Ihave received. Annoying to say the least. Is this a legal company? Has anyone followed up to see where the merchandise is going.Stick to Goodwill, Salvation Army, etc.

Got a call from 407-854-7180. Caller ID said they were Merchandise Pickup in Orlando, FL. They claim they are a pickup company for the American Red Cross. They are not picking up for the American Red Cross.

I have been receiving this call every other morning at 8 am and also at 5 pm. They do not leave a message. I would not call back or even acknowledge it, just block the call. My theory is this, if they are truly the American Red Cross, they would identify themselves as such. The American Red Cross is a Federal ran agency, they would not hang up on you. They would be very professional. They are fishing for your address to come to your house when you are working an probably rob the place. Be careful! Just my opinion on this subject. Besides, if you wanted to donate clothing, you can find several agencies in the phone book. Same as you would if you were looking to apply for a credit card. You call them, not the other way around, if they are legit!

This is a charity that picks up clothing and household items. They call to see if you have anything while they are in the area. Can't remember if it was for the vets or salvation army but I think it was for the vets. I am pretty sure that this is the company.

They've called 2x's a day for a week now

I get a call once a day from these clowns. No message and it only rings twice.

yes they call at 8 ambut call me by a differnt name mr gold smith lol the last time i told them yes, am going to investagate them

I see a pattern here: you pickup and answer the call and they leave no message. I got a call as well the same way. But they asked me for my name. My guess is that they do that to everyone they call. My suspicion is as follows: THEY GAIN THE NUMBER FROM THE PHONE BOOK OR SOME OTHER SOURCE WHERE ITS SHOWS YOUR ADDRESS. THEY CALL TO SEE IF YOU ARE HOME. IF YOU ARE HOME, THEY MOVE ON TO THE NEXT NUMBER. IF YOU NOT HOME, THEY PROBABLY PAY A VISIT TO YOUR HOME TO ROB YOU. Just one man's opinion.
