Don't Answer - Scam callers!

I have filed complaints with the FCC about these calls before, as I am on the DNC list.... they informed me that I am entitled to legal action against the callers, however there is one problem: these people scramble their numbers so the number that shows on your caller ID is not the number they are calling from. Which is why if you ever try to call these people back, it's disconnected: it was never the real number in the first place. Unfortunately this is the big hangup (pun intended?) with taking legal action: the FCC can't figure out who to sue without a valid call-back number.

Got a call in NYC and can't call them back to return the favor since it says the line is disconnected. Why can't the "do not call list" powers that be become as tech savvy?

They must be calling PA people this month because I've received several calls in the past week.

From someone saying they are from Disney orld and that you have won a vacatio n, offering you a pin then telling you to call back and press 1. Just a scam, but it actually recorded on my answering machine

IF you find them just call and we can go hurt or maim them do a couple of them and let the news and tv know and the others will stop calling!!!!!!

I add them to my block list. Unfortunally the keep changing numbers. I can't believe the FCC hasen't been able to trace one of the numbers with all the fancy tracking equipment they have.

NC and I've been getting these called for about 2 weeks now. I had this problem about 2 years ago and then they finally stopped, but it seems they are back at it.

Called me two times here in RI. Same as everyone else above, numbers untraceable, disconnected when I try to call back. My cell security says the number is malicious. I'm also on the so called "do not call list", some good that does!! Fu#$ing jerks!!
