When they called I answered and asked them to remove my number..they hung up before I can finish, It is a T-Moble number. I have had other that also want to help reduce my interest on credit cards. This is always the last chance I have. Some hang up when i tell them I have no balance..
warning, they may be after you to just say 'yes'
* WARNING SOME OF THESE CALLS MAY BE AFTER YOU TO ANSWER 'YES' IN YOUR VOICE, TO SCAM YOU SOME KIND OF WAY.
I can't believe some of the postings here saying you actually responded to this robocalling machine and wanted to talk to a real person. You couldn't tell it was a phony call? I mean a robo call in itself if illegal. And one saying they have tried repeatedly to get hold of us to lower our interest rate is a good reason to just hang up. Do NOT talk to these low life idiots.
If you had a PicturePhone* you should have just taken a screen shot to ID to person for future evidence. (* in order for you to know it was a black person.)
My elderly father used to tell every scam caller "Please, I'm a senior citizen who doesn't understand all you're trying to tell me". I wanted to yell at him, Geez, just put a 20-foot high neon sign in your front yard, saying as much, then leave your doors unlocked so they don't break the windows when they rob you blind. If I could block them I would; problem is, the answering machine eventually picks up, even tho' they never leave messages. This tells them the number is operable, so I fear the calls will keep growing in number. If I'm home and am pretty sure it's a scammer, I answer then instantly hang up, then repeat this sequence a couple times. When I hear a dial tone, I'll leave it off the hook for 10-15 seconds in case they try to redial. May be worthless on my part.
Caller ID "Cell Phone PA" ... FEB 10@2:43pm EST… I do not answer callers I do not know. They did not leave a message.
I received a call from this number this afternoon at 1:59 PM. They did not leave a voice mail and the caller ID read unknown.
Pretty much the same, once in a while they leave a msg on my machine, other times they hang up when the machine picks up. It is Your Last Chance... stop calling, bc I don't have a frickin' credit card to reduce rates on... Grrrr time to block this number as well as others, too bad the Do Not Call is doesn't work to protect us from such crap... Typical government !
