Tom, drug addiction and junkies have nothing to do with it. They're scam artists, cons, thieves, for sure. That is not a direct correlation to drug use.
Oh, but it IS "a direct correlation to drug use". In at least 2 print media articles it was stated many of the persons hired as scammers for "card services" and others, are recruited at Narcotics Anonymous meetings in South Florida. It goes on to state that the reason they hold this "job" is because they are unemployable in most any other position, and they earn commissions to support their addiction, by cheating mainly the gullible and the elderly. Certainly, they are scam artists, cons and thieves, but their motivation for being these type of creatures lies in their needs for drugs. People who answer the calls from these lowlifes, deserve to know what type of a person (creature) they are speaking with.
Calls started 1/21/14. When I answer, the robo caller tells me this is my last chance to pay off my card balance. I don't have any credit cards so I just hang up.
Calls our business in the middle of a very busy time and it's a recording about credit card debt. Hung up and will now add this to the ever growing list of numbers we don't answer.....
Received a call from 1-412-425-2734; left no message. I tried calling back but the number was invalid. I was unable to connect.
Phone companies make money from these crooks using their lines. They don't care about us.

Claim to be discover card. I don't have that disreputable card and haven't had one for 20 years, so they have no reason to call me. Very suspicious.
