I find it hilarious that I've never been inside a Kohl's store in my life, never had a card with them, yet they've been calling, leaving messages. Probably a wrong number. I just hope it doesn't keep up.
Never been to a Kohl's let alone have an account with them. They call about 5 times per day. I blocked their calls with Privacy Star, an excellent app for Blackberry.
Yes I have a Kohls cc, yes the account is past due, but...this is the truth: I pay all of my bills on line through my financial institution. Never had a problem until now. September's Kohls bill paid, no bill in October, November's payment was rejected by Kohls as "unidentifiable account". Checked with the bank, all the info is the same and the payment includes my name, address and account number. You'd think Kohls would try to follow through and post the payment.....but NO, they call me multiple times per day ( I WORK). So far the highest calls logged is 10 calls in 1 day. If they would put that effort into correcting their errors there wouldn't be a problem!
They been buggin me over $7.00. I was a approved for a credit card over Xmas, and spent $7.00 on the approval, but I yet to see the credit card. So I ain't worried. WHEN I have a little time will down to the store and pay them the $7.00 puls interest and then tell them I want to cancel the account b/c they bug people too much and don't follow up on their end. until then as I repeatedly suggest to people about calls from collectors, telemarketers, et al, DO NOT answer the phone if you can ID the caller (and Kohls is tricky, I have not gotten calls from FOUR different numbers - non 800 - from them) and whether they leave a message not identifying themselves (which is a def getouttahere response), or in which they do ID themselves DO NOT responsd to the message. You are taking their bait and subjecting yourself to the abuse they are paid to give! The best way to pay is in person on thur the mail and leave the nasty callers to their onw frustrations!
Been getting calls from Kohl's (live person) who asked for last 4 digits of my SS#. Shouldn't be asking for it over the phone.
I keep getting calls from Kohls. I do owe them but they pissed me off - when I got a credit card a LONG time ago - they said I was approved (applied online) but never received the card. I went to the store and they said they couldn't do anything about it that I had to call the customer service number. I did that - they said they sent the card but would send me another one - never got that one either - so I didn't do anything about it - I thought forget it - it was about a year! I decided a wanted one so I called again - this went on about 4 or 5 times saying they sent one but I never received it. I finally got a card but never got a bill. How do you know when a payment is due when you never get a bill? I kept calling about this - and they claim they send them but I don't receive them - they have the correct address. 5 or 6 months went by - I don't remember about a bill unless someone reminds me - I have more bills then just THEM! They finally started calling every day about 7 or 8 times. NOW they have my number - I get mail from them saying I need to pay - I was 5 or 6 months late before I received anything - and I am not paying the late fees and [***] for something they didn't give me - I am tired of them calling - but am not paying it because it isn't my fault. Pisses me off - they need to get their act together. Sounds like they call many people (above) that don't even have an account - very strange..........I refuse to pay - how do I know I owe all of what they are saying I do - where did all those credit cards go they claimed to send - now maybe someone else has my personal information. UGH..................
Hey TJ at my work the phone is hooked to the computer so I can see caller ID on my screen (at the least phone# and destination place). Same thin goes, do not answer th ephone call or any messages left. they only have power and cna abuse you if you let them!
Had the same problem. When I answered there call they were asking for the person by name that previously had this cell number or was using it on all there credit apps. I know this because about a week after I got my new cell number I started receiving calls from all kind of bill collectors asking for this person by name. Also was getting calls from a college notifying her of new classes being offered. I had to explain it several times to some of these collectors but the calls are hardly coming through (this is one of them I still receive). Not answering does no good, they just keep calling.
I have an account, but it's not past due. They keep calling for a different person and I've already told them I don't know anyone by that name. They keep calling. I looked at my caller id and they've called 7 times just today! Why don't they understand that I don't know or ever heard of Mary?? I'm about to close my own accound.
