I got the calls about a new account I had opened a month prior. Not getting a bill after 6 weeks, I called and discovered that the address they had for me was something like"ptx2837hjcr34" as the street address. They corrected the address, and eliminated the late fees. In the end, they took care of the problem.

4142572339 is listed ad the number of Barbara Eckert of Milwaukee. I was getting 3 or 4 calls a day.When I called the number I got the Kohl's credit department's automated phone system, which askrd for the last four digits of my social security number. Obviously, they are trying to match me with a Kohl's credit card account (which I've never had). I entered 4 phony digits twice and was told it was no match to their records. I was then told to enter my account number. At this point I entered *0 (some automated systems still use this to break.) I then received a recording saying this call will be recorded, after which a live credit department rep answered the phone. I asked to be added to the Kohl's " do not call list" and the woman took my number and said I would receive no more calls.It's been several days without a single call from them.By the way, this rep had no idea who Barbara Eckert is.I also filed a complaint at the "do not call registry" website.Hope this was helpful.

I received a call very early this morning from a debt collector representing KOHL's dept. store!!!!! It woke me up and I can't believe that they start calling people this early and especially after a holiday!!!! I am writing a letter to their corporate office!!! It is insane and I recently made a payment to KOHL'S!!! I am thinking seriously about CLOSING my account for this reason!!

I know what you mean. They've called me, no joke, twenty-seven times since last week. Nine of those are *after* I'd made a payment and a continuing payment arrangement. Something's obviously amiss with their automated system.

I have been getting calls from this number for a month now. I do have a Kohl's account, but it is paid up with no remaining balance on the card. They call ALL throughout the day and even as often as 17 times in one day! 99% of the time I ignore it now, but I have answered and tried to get them to stop calling me and they continue to do it! I don't know how to get this to stop without changing my number. Someone please help!!

It's illegal to call non-stop and leaving no message. Don't talk to them, report them. Kohl's credit card is managed by Capitol One, which has always been unethical in their collections techniques. REPORT THEM>

Bill Collectors are not allowed to call before 9 but they do and even today received two between 8 and 840 this morning. Also if you make contact they are not to call back in a certain amount of time. They never leave messages just call multiple times a day.
