I do have a Kohls card - they have/use robot calling never in the years have I had a live person.So they sound half-way legitimate they said "I am calling on a recorded line." The verbiage is lengthier than that.DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION! GO DIRECTLY TO THE SITE IF YOU REALLY WANT TO MAKE A PAYMENT.Plus, I know I am not delinquent on my payment.
Just called my work phone a few minutes ago, and when I answered, a man's voice said "This is a recorded line. Can I speak to Caroline Smith?" I said I didn't know anyone by that name, and tried to ask why he was calling, and he hung up. Maybe someone spoofing a caller ID for debt collection, or phishing for personal information?
I kept getting calls for 2 days 3 times a day. I pick up the phone and there is no one there. I checked this web site & read this comment so I called the 800 # on the back of my Kohl's card & they asked my info then transferred me to another line. I had to wait about 3 minutes then I was asked all the questions again. I am a brand new card holder and I didn't get my first bill! I paid by check over the phone for free and they waved the late charges. Everyone I spoke with was very nice but I think that automatic calling system is broken.
Called all hours including at 930pm on Sunday. They call multiple times a day sometimes up to four or five times and never leave a message.
They said they were kohl's and I had an outstanding balance. I was sceptical, explained that I have a kohl's card but never use it. Also told him I was not confortable giving any personal info over the phone, he was very nice and courteous, he said he understood and said I could just stop at my local Kohls and they would help me look up the charges and we could figure out if they were fraudulent or not. Told my husband about the call, he said he had made payment....turns out we have 2 different accounts and we did have an outstanding balance, we never received the bill on my account..paid it at kohl's, again, they also were kind and courteous

The person called to verify employment of someone, but I didn't recognize the person's name. The caller had an accent, and I couldn't understand them. I didn't call back to let them know they had reached a wrong number.

Unsolicited call. Wanted me to complete my "voter profile." I've voted from this address for over 20 years.
It happened to me they got into my computer and got all bank info they took over $4000. from me left me with nothing. Don't trust anyone this was a setup.
