My cell phone used to be a private phone for me, family members, and close friends. In the last 3 days, I have gotten 4 unwanted phone calls, one being from this number, another right as I was turning off my phone for surgery. What truly irritates me is that I have to pay for these unwanted calls and know that those who have my number would only call if it were something important. The lady who called was rude to me and there was a delay each time I said something. We will all probably spend the rest of our lives trying to keep from paying for overseas calls. I pity those who went to their website.
Weak, poorly planned and incomplete survey scam! Number recall is blocked to incoming calls.
If they are calling your cell phone and it is tethered to your computer, they can obtain account info, passwords, etc. from your computer. Seems to be the reason why they want you to open an Internet connection on your phone or computer. Dirty, rotten thieves!
This party won't stop calling me i don't know who they are wish they stopped calling.Don't listen to any thing you tell them.
A woman called me on my cell phone told that they were offering me a reward including a Walmart card for completing a survey. I do not remember completing a survey. She offered to walk me through a computer verification process in order to get the reward. I said that I was unable to get to my computer right now. I tried to check on the internet for reverse phone but was unable to get the caller's name I then found this site and submitted this information.
Appears to be wakanetwork dot com (unknown on caller ID) registered to a company in "Des Plaines, IL" sure.... There are plenty of complaints on these scammers. Here's thought: Don't go to the website even out of curiosity. There are lots of sites that can push malware onto your computer just by connecting to the site. Once installed and depending on what it is, such malware could log keystokes from your computer and send them off to Mother Russia, or who knows where, stealing credit card numbers and all kinds of passwords and personal information. There's a lot of smart people using this site who didn't fall for whatever scam they are offering. The government and the DNC is NOT protecting the people from this. We're on our own. Rock on....
If you have a 'droid, go get an app called "Call Filter"Since cell phones cannot "block" incoming calls unidentified, and they don't seem to enforce the "Do Not Call" list. . . . .Go get "Call Filter"It's free - add the "annoying number" to your filter list, and it automatically gets dumped into voice mail and you never hear the phone ring. They never leave a voice mail and they never use your minutes.Yea, (grin), there's an app for that. And it's fabulous.Get rid of these annoying calls!
