caller id said point reyes calif.-let it ring- they left no voice mail. people who call and leave no message want something-probably money- and they can't get it via voice mail - also on dnc list
Just called a few minutes ago. Do not know this California number, so didn't answer. Looked it up later and discovered it was a scam.
They did not leave a message and, based on the above responses, it goes on my blocked numbers list.
This number just called me and I'm glad I didn't anser. It's amazing how many junk calls I get, more than I get from friends and family!
Caller ID shows Point Reyes and the number.I didn't answer and a woman left a message asking for me by my full name. She didn't identify herself or the organization. It is definitely a call site as there were many voices in the background. I have a feeling it's either political or charitable . It's a shame these people are exempt from the do not call rules. It certainly doesn't inspire me to contribute to any if they are going to hound me by phone for writing a check. I don't make phone contributions nor would I ever. I even write on contributions I make my mail, if you try and call me, this is the only contribution you'll ever receive.Usually if I'm home and the callers name is not known to me or it just shows a location on the caller ID, I click on and off so the phone stops ringing and they can't leave a message which is often just dead air. So annoying!
